February 16, 2019 Barons Wrap Up Regular Season with Win at D'Youville BUFFALO, NY – In the regular season finale, the Franciscan men's basketball team saw all five of its starters hit double-digits as the Barons defeated D'Youville, 89-82, to secure the first regular season winning record since the 1972-73 season.
February 13, 2019 CLINCHED! Barons Head to AMCC Tournament Thanks to Buzzer Beater GREENSBURG, Pa. – It took exactly 45 minutes of basketball, but the Franciscan men's basketball sealed their spot in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference tournament with a thrilling 75-74 overtime win at Pitt.-Greensburg thanks to the buzzer-beating three from sophomore guard Sean Hickey (North Olmstead, OH/Holy Name).
January 30, 2019 Barons Know Off Mounties at Home STEUBENVILLE – Despite frigid temperatures outside, the Franciscan men's basketball team heated up Kuzma Court with an exciting 63-53 win over visiting Mount Aloysius, Wednesday evening.
January 26, 2019 Barons Pull Out OT Thriller Over Medaille STEUBENVILLE – The Medaille Mavericks tied the game with just three seconds left in regulation, but the Franciscan men's basketball team dug down deep and played a gritty overtime period to come away with a 72-69 win over Medaille on Kuzma Community Day, Saturday afternoon.  
January 5, 2019 Trent Becomes All-Time Rebounding Leader; Barons Defeat Hilbert 68-44 HAMBURG, NY – The Franciscan men's basketball team set the program's record for wins in a season in the DIII era with its 68-44 win over Hilbert, improving to 8-6 on the year, and junior center Matt Trent (Cleveland, OH/Trinity) became the all-time leader in rebounds after his 17-board performance Saturday afternoon.
January 3, 2019 Barons Tie Single-Season Win Record, Win OT Thriller at Altoona ALTOONA, Pa. – After Penn State Altoona tied the game with 0.9 seconds left on the clock in regulation, the Franciscan men's basketball team out-scored the Lions 15-7 in the extra period to win a 99-91 overtime thriller, Thursday evening.
